A Gift of Time, Pride and Beauty

This donated handmade quilt is a 6 month labor of love completed by Jackie, one of our favorite Hidden Valley RV Park guests.  She spent many an hour on this piece of art, including copying the crest design (while on her hands and knees,) off of the floor tiles at the AMEDDC&S building at Fort Sam where her husband, Master Sgt., John S. was serving in the wounded warriors program.

Jackie is the ultimate 'Susy Homemaker' and craft queen - but this work of art transcends them all, as it will stand as a testimony to the pride of all who pass by it in the foyer of bldg 2840, AMEDDC&S at Fort Sam Houston.
Great job, Jackie!
