Super friendly, beautiful place and so quiet. Teri knew we were stuck in traffic and she waited for us plus she gave us directions because.GPS was trying to take us downtown. Thanks. Wish we could've stayed longer.
Great park located very close to city attractions as well as shopping and restaurants. Quiet park and staff very nice and helpful. Laundry facility very clean didn’t use showers. Park very clean spaces nice and wide for our 40’ fifth wheel. We will stay again when we are back in the area.
This is the perfect getaway RV park. It is very relaxing and friendly. The staff is great and the sites are well maintained. The Wi-Fi worked flawlessly. It was so relaxing that we didn't want to leave. We will be back.
Enjoyed this campground. Staff was great. Parked in lower lot. No good signal but still enjoyed our stay. Would go back. Used our facility
We stayed here while visiting our son who is in the Air Force . It was a great place to stay and the staff was very friendly and went out of their way to help us.
Great place to stay. Terri greeted us with a smile and was very helpful. We stayed 3 nights. Very close to downtown. Beautiful sunsets!
Loved our stay here! We would’ve stayed forever if we could.
It was great to find close San Antonio a RV park just cool, quit, lot of threes, river and excellent treatment from Terry.
My wife and I are new RV'ers. We wanted a place close to home to take our new travel trailer. I hit google and looked at the places with the best reviews near by. Hidden Valley was at the top. I checked tripadvisor and they had excellent reviews there, too. Hidden Valley is about 15 minutes from our home in San Antonio, but driving that mile long gravel road takes you into the country. Help Hidden Valley be a good neighbor and obey the 10MPH speed limit. The wind frequently blows towards the houses at various places along the way. Teri and her helpers have great attitudes, helpful advice and were a pleasure to deal with. For those from out of town, they have a lot of excellent suggestions for things to do while in the San Antonio area. There are a fair number of long term folks staying at Hidden Valley and all we met were very friendly. The sites are well maintained. The full bathrooms are nicely done and clean. Some people don't realize, the light on outside the door means that one is occupied, though. They have occasional campfires and Saturday morning coffee and sweets socials. There are some areas to go walking around. For those that like to bird watch the lower area (I think they call it the valley) is a great place. Sitting outside our camper, we saw Ladder-backed and Golden Fronted Woodpeckers, Bewick's wrens, Verdins, Lesser Goldfinches, Cedar Waxwings, Northern Cardinals, and a number of others I don't remember off the top of my head. I highly recommend Hidden Valley RV Park. It's clean, friendly, well maintained, reasonably priced and a quiet pleasant area to stay.
We were pleasantly surprised with this park. Everything was clean and well maintained. It was an easy drive into San Antonio, yet we had a quiet and comfortable place to relax in the evening. Terry offered a wealth of information about what to visit, where to park, etc. Would definitely stay there again.
We spent March 2018 at this park. Teri and the staff were very nice and helpful, and the park is very quiet and clean. It is a bit rural so you will need to use your vehicle to get around, but we often drove to the Madla Transit Station a few miles away and parked our big dually truck and took the Via Transit Buses into town for the day, rather than deal with parking and the $$. And the Medina Nature Reserve which is a few miles south is a lovely place for walking or biking. We enjoyed our stay at hidden Valley RV Park.
Nice RV park, enjoyed it very much! We will be staying here again...only negative was no TV hook up....was hard to watch March Madness
Very nice campgrounds, showers & bathrooms Clean but driveway has pothole, have to go 10 miles a hour because it causes do much dust they need to pave it badly.

My husband and I have traveled for 3 years full time in a 25 ft Mercedes Leisure Travel RV. We have been to 38 states and well over 100 RV parks. This park is one of the best we have visited. Here's why. The park is conveniently located near San Antonio but when you get to the park it feels like a real campground out in the country. Space between sites, grassy areas, a couple community fire pits. The location and campground facilities (laundry and bathrooms) are super nice but what really sets this campground apart are the owners (Terry and Mark) and the employees of the park. You immediately feel welcome and part of their family. Sitting around the community fire pit and chatting with the owners, employees, and fellow campers felt so wonderful. This RV park/campground is a must visit if you are in the area. We will always remember our
Great place to stay. Nice country setting. Laundry facilities great bathroom /shower looks well kept. Probably only downside is gravel road coming in but will definitely use this park again nice people running it
Stayed at the campground in January. Teri and her staff were very helpful and friendly. The sites were a good size and we found the campground to be very quiet and within about half hour to an hour from all sites we wanted to see. The washrooms/showers were large and very clean. The laundry was also very nice. There was a mix of long term and short term campers. The only negative I would say is that the wifi was weaker at one place than another. The strongest spot seemed to be at the downhill section. Teri said this was going to be fixed in April. They also have 3 campers for rent and one cabin. Reasonable cost for the month. Would stay there again without hesitation, even with the gravel road to get there.
Stayed with husband at Hidden Valley RV Park for a few months while working in the area. Very clean and well kept. Quiet and comfortable. We were very safe - the office staff is very helpful - Mark and Teri, without a doubt, are so kind, considerate, and knowledgeable. We were so blessed to have found this Park and would recommend highly
Not a bad place to camp out. Straightforward service unlike others.
Has two camping areas the one in the front has pull throughs for large trailers and motorhomes, one in the back by the creek ,has large open grass areas, nice trees and shade. Very helpful and friendly owners. Super washer and dryers. If you're camping near San Antonio this is the place to be.
We are staying here to go to the River Walk in San Antonio. Which is only about 25 minutes north of here. This is a hidden Gem. So beautiful and clean , out away from everything, but close too. And Terri at the office couldn't be more friendly and helpful. She knows the River Walk well and was very helpful with how to enter and the best places to park. They also have the nicest large showers and bathrooms. And a laundry room as well . This place is fabulous !
We stayed a little over a month from April to May 2017. This is a family owned park that is clean and quiet. Terry manages the park and is great to talk with. She knows the area and things to do. She always has a smile. She makes the stay nice. The sites are large grassy sites with gravel to park on. This park is big rig friendly for sure. We stayed in a 40 foot Montana 5th wheel. The park is in a country setting and is quiet and peaceful. It is just a couple of minutes from the interstate, fuel, stores, things to do and food. You get the best of both worlds staying here. The facilities like the bathroom, showers, and laundry room (4 washers and dryers) are new since 2016. They are all kept very clean. There is only one thing I could say that some may not like is the gravel road coming into the park. Some may not like driving on gravel, but if that holds you back, you missed a great place to overnight or hang your hat for a longer stay. We will be back when we are in the area again as we totally enjoyed our stay here.
Access road and camping very dusty
If you like peace and quiet and wide-open spaces around you this is the RV park for you in San Antonio area
Ok place... goodish prices, friendly folks .... far enough from San Antonio..... no cable...
I love the location. The park is outside of town just enough to make it quiet but close enough that shopping and dining are just minutes away. The lots are clean, affordable and service is great.
