is here once again and just like with legendary Slim Whitman, the cattle call has gone out.
Last night was the first of the two XTreme Bulls presentations at this years Rodeo.
"Xtreme Bulls is back for its 5th year, and better than ever! This year brings exciting new changes for the event, because once again, Xtreme Bullriding fans can enjoy two nights of the most intense bullriding competition in professional rodeo-this time on the opening Thursday, and the final Saturday of the show. Both performances will be televised on the Great American Country (GAC) channel, ... The tradition of pairing this electrifying night of bullriding with rousing musical performances by the hottest acts in the nation continues, with appearances by top musical acts."

I really suggest checking out the grounds. If you get tickets for one of the entertainers - go early and stroll the grounds, get a smoked turkey leg and gnaw on it while you check out the Budweiser Clydesdale's, the little tykes calf roping contest, the monstrous bulls and the immense tents full of stuff to buy. Get the feel of a real rodeo. Then you can leave Texas or better yet stay...and feel like a real cowboy.
Hidden Valley RV Parks office has copies of the full Rodeo schedule, directions, maps, parking info, etc.
